Imagine, waking up and opening your eyes that morning, on the most anticipated day you’ve had marked in your calendar since the engagement. Even though you weren’t able to sleep much through the excitement, you feel refreshed and ready. You lay on your side to see your second most prized companion (besides your almost-spouse) is curled up next to you. As always, happy and excited to be spending time with you. You’re certain they must know something special is about to happen today, but not quite sure if they’re going to enjoy the day as much as you will.

There is already enough stress to be dealt with planning a wedding, and we like to leave this to our fur-avorite wedding planners ;). We are strong believers that when you are getting married, the entire process should be as enjoyable as possible.
One of the best things about dogs is that they are (most times) constantly happy. Although, during an exciting day like their pawrent’s wedding, they need the experts (or someone Fido knows very well) to make sure they are not overwhelmed and get a lot of the right kind of attention. Weddings aren’t just stressful to those who plan them, but can also be to our furry-friends that are involved. Again, that is why we exist! So no one has to worry about a thing.
Meet-and-Greet
First, we start with a complementary meeting online for our clients and their pup(s) before the big day. This is included free in each package. We talk about everything that entails your dog and helps make their “Best Day Ever” their “Best Day Ever”. We also offer meet-and-greets so that the parent’s wedding day starts off easy by seeing a face they’ve previously met. Generally, we win their hearts over quickly with some treats in hand, lots of pets, and love. During the meeting we will get a good idea of what their favorite spots, their quirks and anything we need to know to make their day pawfect. Our doggie massage skills are out of this world- many say we have a magic touch.
VIP Transport
Your dog’s safety is our number one priority. We treat them as our own during your special day and, trust us, we would never let one of our pets be transported without being protected or secured. Not only are we your pup’s VIP chaperones, we are also their VIP chauffeurs. Anytime Furever Us has your fur-baby in one of our cars we secure them with a nationally certified and approved doggy seat belt. If they’re uncomfortable in cars, don’t worry. We do everything in our power to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. Even if that means having someone from our team sit in the back with them so they don’t feel alone.
Arrival To The Wedding Venue
Finally, your dog’s ‘best day ever’ truly starts when they see their pawrents all dolled up for the wedding! Usually, they can’t contain their excitement and it radiates. We always notice the shift in mood once the handsome dog-of-honor arrives for their debut. Who couldn’t love a dapper pup wearing their best dress for their parents wedding?

Worried about paw prints on your dress or tux? No worries we have got you covered. We have plenty of supplies in our bag that will help you avoid any disasters. The mood just seems to change in an instant when our four legged clients walk through those venue doors.
A VIP Doggie Concierge Service
Imagine having a butler serve you for hours, including massages, delicious treats and more. This is what a dog handler does. We are there for them. A wedding pet chaperone will not only take care of your dog, making sure they are ok. But also entertain them. Every breed is a bit different, and we know that. Some love to play with their balls or squeak toys, some love treat puzzles or scent work. We do whatever we can to entertain them, of course within the rules of the venue and safety being our number one priority.
Throughout the Wedding and Ceremony
Without a question, outdoor weddings can be extremely beautiful. Although, this also means that those in the wedding are subject to the temperament of mother nature. This may be one of your concerns when considering your dog being involved in your wedding. What if they get hot? Don’t sweat it, we’ve got it covered. We are always equipped with multiple bottles of water to keep your dog hydrated during the day. When temperatures rise, especially during our summer months, we watch any wedding pet very closely to ensure no risk of overheating. We take them to an airconditioned room in the venue, and if one is not available we take them to our air conditioned car. We also pack portable fans to keep them cool so you can enjoy your wedding day, stress-free.
Each wedding dog has different needs. During our first meeting we sit down with you to make sure we know everything there is to know about your best pup. After all they are family. Special diet, no problem. Likes their treats cut-up in rectangular slices, it is all party of the job.
Pawty Is Over!
Alas, when the humans party is just beginning, your furbaby will be in accompanied to their home or to one of our Furever Us’s handlers. There they will get to have a lot of snuggle time. We make sure that they feel right at home and adjust to their needs. If they love their crate, they will have their crate waiting for them all prepared. If they are more social, then they will get to have a fun time playing with out pack. That night and the nights furever after, they will close their eyes knowing they are an official family.

Most couples will tell you that the most intimate part about getting married is going away on honeymoon. This is a romantic getaway just the two of you. Or maybe the three of you? We put together a list of fun honeymoon destinations with your dog here. But, in case that is not in your plans; why not let Fido, have a fun packed mini vacation on their own? During our honeymoon camp Furever Us involves dogs in lots of fun activities and games. Dogs loved to be challenged. Dog puzzles are a great way to find the treat. How about learning a new trick. Many of Furever Us’s honeymoon guests will learn a trick or two (pss small secret, Furever Us hires trainers). For some, simply keeping them active and letting them have supervised play can often be enough. Your dog will be treated like part of the family. Yes, they even get to share the bed with the humans.
